THE CAN SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

Lifelong learning starts here

Each summer, CAN offers a 4-week summer learning experience that is engaging, interactive, and fun. Our programs are free for students, with bus transportation, supplies, and healthy lunches and snacks provided each day.

The CAN Experience

The Compass Academy Network program provides educational enrichment and personalized guidance to support students’ growth and development into confident individuals, students, and citizens.

Students are exposed to a variety of hands-on classes, where they gain new skills, explore new ideas, and find inspiration for their futures—all while making friends and having fun.

The CAN program is designed for students to return each summer during their middle school years. Participation throughout all of middle school maximizes the benefits of the program.

Our Mission

CAN is a non-profit that supports education in rural communities by providing free summer enrichment programs for middle school students and by developing a pipeline of committed and qualified educators in rural communities.

CAN Students Are Inspired To:

Find joy in learning while gaining academic and social skills

Develop a deeper understanding of their own strengths and passions

Make friends and connect with teachers, Peer Mentors, and other students
